I've been laid low with the lurgy for a couple of days..................I'd forgotten how bad Sinus pain can be :( A night covered in Vicks and PJ's covered with Olbas Oil seem to have helped, but I think I am going to have to keep it up or I will just be bunged again.........at least I woke up without a headache.
The weather forecast has just been on breakfast news...........you wouldn't think we were living in the same country looking out of the windows here........it is bright and sunny, pendle is lit up and there is not a cloud in the sky, which is that beautiful clear pale blue.
It will however, be bloody freezing out there with such a clear sky. Overnight temperatures were supposed to get down to around -4C but when Martin and Alan got back in last night the temperature according to the college thermometer was down to -6C........and we are due lots more clear skies for the rest of the week. The snow seems to be skirting round the edges of the country and it doesn't look like we are going to get any.
Andy is off on holiday today.......I hope he has a good time, he needs the break.
Olivia is starting to get over the bug too, she has been very listless over the last couple of the days and hasn't slept well, but she is a lot brighter this morning and is not constantly on and off the potty :) I doubt she will be back to nursery before Monday though as she has to be clear for 48 hours before she can go back.
Today I have to try and catch up on a bit of housework..........but I am going to take it easy, I don't want to put myself straight back in bed!
I am off to get a coffee and check my mail.ttfn

It is a real nasty........and I have been dosing everyone with herbal preventives since the beginning of winter (winter bugs seem to get nastier every year, so I was prepared)I don't like to think what it would have been like if we hadn't!
At least the precautions seem to have defended against the dreaded Bronchitis which a lot of people seem to be getting with this thing. I have got a bit chesty, but no more than a heavy cold......which for a smoker is good going with this kind of infection, so I am grateful for small mercies from the Gods ;)
